Word linking and Noticing Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and Grammar in Movies was difficult for me. Both listening and speaking, the ideal speed was faster than my skill. I felt that my mind wasn't functioning after summer vacation. I should have studied English...
However, I enjoyed this unit because I had never made Film before. I learned communication skill and adjustment skill through the group work. I was to blame for my action. I also tried sharing the information and the part fairly. Of course there were some trivial trouble, but we finished every work. Our movie is ready for the announce.
Lastly, I introduce our movie " Porter-pan ". This is a parody of " Peater-pan ". Porter is gang of KUIS, so teacher Cook want to try rehabilitate him. Cook makes use of Wendy to let him to cook. It was succeed at first, but he realizes the truth...
I'm also looking forward to watching other groups' films on Tuesday.

My Favourite Movie
My favourite movie is "Der Untergang" which is called "Hitler's last 12 days " in Japanese. This War movie was set in Germany, and Germany collaborated with Austria and Italy in making. The director is Oliver Hirschbiegel. Main actors are Bruno Ganz and Alexandra Maria Lara. This movie was put on view in Japan on July 9th, 2005.
The last stage of WW2, Hitler lived in underground of the president's official residence in Berlin. Germany's defeat had already been clearly fact, and Berlin which is a capital city was surrounded by USSR forces. Berlin is the final capture point for USSR, so they advanced and attacked to the central area of Berlin day by day.
This movie show us the confusion of Berlin which is before the fall, the trends of Hitler and his subordinates in the underground and the suicide or the survival after Hitler's suicide. This movie caused the pros and cons all over the world, especially in USA and Israel because of the human representation of Hitler.
The reason why I like this movie is its reality. I like world history very much, especially modern history. This movie is none fiction movie based on the testimony of Gertraud Traudl Junge who was one of a secretary of Hitler. Of course we can't inspect whether it was true or not, but this movie is interesting for me as an entertainment without thinking scholarship.

First semester at KUIS
Through my senior high school days, I became a boring person. I was a person who didn't pay attention for other and want to communicate with other. To decide to enter National defense Academy was natural for me. However, what I surprised most was that there were many common students. Strict lifestyle was not so big problem for me, but the fact was unexpected for me.
Of course, I enjoyed NDA life very much. I never forget all memory not only good experience but also bad memory. My special relations with the same period will continue for the future. NDA was my identity, so nobody imaged my leaving including me. I can`t believe me, but I decided. It is very difficult mental process to explain, so I don`t tell you.
I am irresolute now. There was no ardor to enter KUIS, in fact. But it is certain that I am different from what I was. I go to KUIS everyday. I am alive in commonly world.

Summer Plan
My summer vacation will be ordinary days this year. I will work 4 or 5 times a week to save money. I have no plan, but I like saving very much. Saving may be my hobby.
I explain my part time job. I am a member of KSP, which is a part-time job of KUIS. I do it twice a week usually, but summer vacation is exception. In fact, I also work another part-time job on weekends. So the latter will be main job in summer vacation. The job is a guide of a concert or event. I can choose the site, artist and day freely. This job is not hard than other job, I think. I can work with listening their music. It takes half or all day, so I can kill time too.
As a rest, I'm going to go to Sapporo. My friend lives alone in Sapporo, because he goes to Hokkaido University. He said to me to visit him. As I have never been there, I want to go. This trip will be fun. Sapporo has many delicious food and sightseeing spots, and Sapporo is cool in summer.
Other point is to study Arabic. KUIS provides special classes in long vacation, so I chose Try Arabic. I want to be able to learn simple Arabic conversation. I know Arabic is difficult language, but I'll challenge again.

Mike Huckabee's lecture
Because Mr.Dave who is our basic writing teacher finished the class faster than the rule, I could listen Mike Huckabee's lecture on the day. I'm appreciate him very much.
As Huckabee said at the first of his lecture, I couldn't catch and understand his English in fact. However I listened with concentration on the time. I explain the outline in some simple words, he spoke about three things, I think. About the importance of the originality in the education for children. About the problem of the medical treatment system. And about what good government is.
Most of his lecture was composed of difficult and special word. But it is normal, because he is a politician as to be collected a condidate running with the official support of the Republican Party for the vice-president of U.S.A.
At the next time when I listen someone's all English lecture, I want to understand more. Anyway, it was good experience to realize how poor my English skill is.

Cool air is necessity

I like cool air of fall and winter, so this haiku is about it. We can live comfortably on the earth, because such cold air cools summer's hot air. However, this haiku has another meaning.
After we have exiting time, our tention often be raised. Sometime we may go on a spree. Calm down is important to keep our morals.
Of course, I am not only a cool man, but also a rascal man.

A Travel Memory
Today is free topic, so I wrote about Combodia trip. This blog's content is same with my Basic Writing class's document. However, I'd like to tell you this memory, because Cambodia is my favorite place.
My best travel memory is going Cambodia. I went to Cambodia as a trip for a week last March. I wanted to visit Angkor-wat, before being National Defense Academy student. So I stayed in Siem Reap, famous for Angkor-wat. When I decided to go to Cambodia, my parents didn’t agree with my plan, because as you know, Cambodia is recognized as a dangerous country. However, I really wanted to go.
The most fearful thing was in Vietnam. There was no direct flight between Narita and Siem Reap, I had to change airplanes at Ho Chi Minh airport, Vietnam. I didn’t hear any Japanese there. The airport used English and Chinese. If I missed the airplane, I had to give up. After about for 8 hours flight, I arrived at Siem Reap airport in the evening. The airport was very small, and it was hot. The temperature was around 40 degrees everyday I stayed. I moved to a hotel. The hotel was great . I was surprised as soon as I entered the hotel and I was satisfied its facilities. They could provided even Japanese food ( however, I didn’t eat. ) . Those were all of the 1st day.
The 2nd day and the 3rd day were adventure days. On the 2nd day, I saw a sunrise at Angkor-wat. I went to all of both Angkor-wat and Angkor-tom. Angkor-wat is an ancient temple, and Angkor-tom is an ancient capital city. In addition, I rode an elephant and an auto tricycle. I climbed a mountain and the remains. I walked and walked. I ate Cambodian food. I drank Angkor beer and some fresh juice. I visited to War-museum, Landmine-museum and Killing-field. I also could shoot a real AK47. I experienced various things. I had a good time.
And more, I saw many things. For example, there were children in the remains. They came and asked to me just only “This is 1 dollar. Buy it.” Some children even spoke Japanese to get money. 1 dollar is not expensive for us, but in there, they can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is different from our common sense there. I want to go again.
